The US Merchant Economics website and services offered under the UME brand are operated by UAB Metta, a company established in Lithuania.

Calculators and information

UME calculators provide estimates based on information and assumptions supplied by the user. Results are educational comparisons, not quotes, financial advice, approval decisions, or guarantees of pricing, eligibility, or savings. Actual costs may differ because of card mix, transaction types, pricing structure, fixed fees, and other factors.

Rate-review requests and independent providers

A rate-review request is optional and does not obligate you to change processors. UME is not a payment processor. When a suitable request and a participating independent provider are available, UME may refer the request. Each provider controls its own decision to respond and is solely responsible for its services, underwriting, pricing, contracts, and terms. A referral is not an endorsement or guarantee of provider response, approval, pricing changes, savings, or any other outcome.

Acceptable use and responsibility

You agree to provide accurate information, use the site only for lawful purposes, and avoid interfering with the site or submitting information without authority. To the extent permitted by law, UME is not liable for provider decisions, third-party services, or indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
